To be successful, one of the skills you should have is effective time management. To be able to reach your goals, you need to manage time well, please see below for some easy tips:
Plan ahead
It is so much easier to optimize and prioritize tasks if you plan your time in advance. Depending on your need and personality, you can do it daily, weekly or even longer time management plans. Better to create your daily planner or simple to do list in advance, like a day before you start your shift.

Don’t procrastinate

Whether the reason is poor self-care or psychological factors, procrastination is a result of poor time management. Once you have the action items laid out, act on it without any delay. It requires a conscious effort to do all the things you can today and say no to activities that is just a waste of your time and drag down your productivity.

Set priorities ahead of time, not everything needs to be done right away. Identify your priorities, start with what’s more important and urgent and then work your way down to the least urgent and important.

Once you’re done prioritizing, you can start delegating some tasks that don’t need that much attention and or tasks that require skill sets you do not possess. Also, please set proper expectations and clear instructions to the person who will be working on those assigned tasks.

Time and motion will always give us analytics on how productive and how much productivity was lost or gain, pointing patterns and opportunities that you can work on right away to gear away from lost time.

Time is a great equalizer of time. We all have the same amount of time as the next person, regardless of race, religion, economic status etc. It’s not how much time you do have but it’s how effectively you manage your time. Use it wisely.
